Strecker Nelson West Gallery in Manhattan, KS, is featuring an expressive colorful show of twelve Abstracts Artists. I was delighted to be part of the show, having five pieces of my work on display.
The range of color palettes, expressions of boldness and tenderness, mysterious movements, happy senses, and peaceful settings make a feast for the eyes, contemplation, and closeup viewing.
Here are a few captures of the Opening Reception on May 3rd.
SNW put together this wonderful grouping of works by Lynette Ubel, from Kansas City.
My two 40×40 pieces – “Laughter In The Rain” (left) and “Traversing” (right) bookend a work by Richard Slimon, retired Art Professor from Emporia, KS.
“Breezin'” and “Buoyant” are two colorful red-white-blue works that stand alone or together as a diptcyh. Love the way SNW displayed these two above some unique ceramic pieces that mirror each others colors.
“Exit To Adventure” is also part of this fun show. Nothing like a colorful adventure to jump into and explore!
